Seal talks at Agatha Christie's Boat House - National Trust Greenway Friday 25th October 2024
Did you know grey seals and common seals can be spotted on the river at Greenway.
Join Sarah Greenslade, founder of The Seal Project, for a talk about these fascinating animals on Friday 25th October 2024
Based in Brixham, The Seal Project work across the South West surveying seals around the coastline. Join Sarah down at The Boathouse at Greenway for a talk on the work the Seal Project does to protect seals, fun facts about the local seal population and how to identify different seals.
The talk will last between 30 and 60 minutes, and afterwards Sarah will be available for questions and there may even be a chance to spot seals on the river from the Boathouse.
As this talk takes part at the Boathouse which is located at the bottom of the garden, please be aware access is via steep slopes and steps. Please wear sturdy footwear and weather appropriate clothing.
This talk is free, booking is not required. If you are visiting Greenway by car, you will need to book your parking in advance on the website.
