Save Our Seal 2023

Young Learners

Over the past few months we have taken our ‘cuddly team’ to a number of schools to explain all we do to protect our amazing wild seals, and the dangers of litter in the sea. From plastic bags, marine debris and simple things like children or dog toys, we explain the issues such things can create to our amazing ocean wildlife.

As a result, Galmpton Primary School undertake a beach litter pick each year, and then create something amazing.

Last year it was a ‘Littered seal’ who has travelled well with us – This seal has been to Dartmouth Regatta, the Devon County Show and #Op Seabird events - and just recently we were gifted this beautiful ‘Save our Seals’ artwork from Galmpton’s reception class.

Young learners really are amazing and we love engaging with them. So this new artwork will be travelling with us to Dartmouth Regatta, Celebrate Start Bay Festival, Yes Festival & the Time & Tide Inauguration Event. So if you’re young learner has been part of these amazing artworks please come and say hello, we’d love to thank you, and if you’re not – please come and see what we are about!
